Anusha have just launched their latest collection of shoes, and very spring-like it is, too, with these pearl and shell thong sandals perfect for a trip to the beach! They're made of soft leather, which should be soft for your feet, and gold stones, and are a much more glamorous alternative to your old rubber flip flops, at £49.

Shoewawa regulars are probably wondering why we're showing you a picture of a flip flop - and not a particularly pretty flip flop either. Well, this is no ordinary flip flop: look closer and you'll see that this is, in fact, Reef's 'Dram' sandal - and it comes complete with a handy compartment to store liquid.
This makes sense, I guess. I mean, we normally tend to wear thong sandals in warm weather/to the beach, and sooner or later you're going to get thirsty. Why not carry a refreshing drink in your shoe? Well, the answer, "because it's weird" is the first one that spings to my mind, but maybe that's just me. If you think these sandals are the best idea since the stiletto heel, you'll be sad to know that they're actually designed for men, but then again, if they have them in your size, no one will ever know...

While Tory Burch isn't known for her ingenuity when it comes to shoe designs, you can't argue that she does a nice quality classic. These flip flops are a case in point, with their leather-lined sole and Italian patent leather. The sunny yellow flower embellishment on the toe practically smiles back at you, and label lovers will enjoy the ubiquitous Tory logo that rounds off the design. Also available in cherry red and black; if you're in the market for designer flip flops this spring, they're $175 from Saks.

Their fans say they're the most comfortable flip flops ever made, and if you're one of those fans, and in the UK, you may be pleased to know that Topshop have just started selling the famous footwear. There's a few different colours and styles to choose from, including the printed flip flop pictured here, and the price is either £19 or £20, depending on the style you go for.
Has anyone worn these? Do you think they're worth the price?

We're still a long way away from flip-flop weather here in the northern hemisphere, but when balmier days finally do arrive, I think I'll be finding it hard to resist these 'Jangla' flip flops from Faith, which are £40 and covered in diamante. Yes, they're probably a bit too "blingy" for some people, but I think they'd look great on a lightly tanned foot, and just imagine how they'd sparkle in the sunshine! A good choice, too, for anyone planning a beach front wedding, because these manage to be dressy and casual at the same time.

I'm not sure I'd quite describe French Sole as a "high street" brand, but their 'Serenity' flower sandals, shown on the left of this picture, are certainly cheaper than Giuseppe Zanotti's metallic thongs on the right, even although the styles are similar. The French Sole sandals cost $198 to Zanotti's $595, but which pair would you prefer - if either?

The great thing about Office is that they produce highly wearable shoes in a variety of styles and colours. I'm coveting these lovely beige ankle/shoe boots from their new collection, and like the red polka dot twist they've taken to their classic platform shoes The peacock blue Mary Jane's are also rather stunning, and I think the use of an extra thick strap across the shoe.
