I know these have been around for a while now, but even although I don't pretend to know why there's a demand for high street copies of Balenciaga's infamous lego shoe, I thought it my duty to show them to you, anyway.
They're $69.99 at Bakers, and as well as the bright, lego-effect colours shown above, they also come in plain black and white. Steve Madden also has a version of these , but if you like the colours and hate the style, you may be better off with Topshop's lego-like Mary Janes, shown in our Mary Jane Monday gallery earlier today.

While not a direct copy and more an 'inspired-by' (I admit I kind of love those), when I saw these ASOS patent peep toes they instantly reminded me of these Marc by Marc Jacobs patent pumps (but that could possibly be because I only tried them on just the other day!)
Obviously the peep toe is similar in size and shape with the difference being the heel shape and the elastic slingback on the ASOS version. Where things are really miles apart is the price:the Marc shoes are either $127.45 from Saks or £147.75 from Net-A-Porter, while the ASOS ones are priced at £25.

Notice anything familiar about these shoes? You should do, because this is the third time we've shown a pair just like them - the first time being back in December, when you showed you the originals, by Alexander McQueen, and the second just a couple of weeks ago, when we brought you the Aldo version. This pair is by ASOS , and they're the cheapest of the trio, at just £30.
So, who's next to be inspired by Mr McQueen's shoes, I wonder?

YSL have a lot of starry shoes to answer for. Copies and 'inspired-by' versions of the Stella star sandal from the spring/summer 2008 collection have popped up everywhere this season. And while the real thing is on sale now ($335 from Bergdorf Goodman), the copies are all seeing their own reductions too.
Which means if you've been lusting after the YSL ones and the sale price is still out of reach, then these star sandals from Office (available in black and silver) will only set you back a cool £15.

Well, come on, you didn't think Steve Madden could let there be an "It" shoe in existence without making his own version "inspired" by it now, did you? The "It" shoe in question is Dior's extreme gladiator sandals, as worn by Sarah Jessica Parker in the Sex and the City movie. They're currently sold out everywhere, so if you had your heart set on the style, Mr Madden's 'Madalynn' may be your only option. They're $109.99 and currently available for pre-order, with delivery expected towards the end of August.

One may be pink and glittery, the other black and classy, but colour differences aside, there seem to be a lot of similarities between Moda in Pelle's 'Rox' sandals and Gucci's 'Kelly'. The knotted front, open back and high stiletto heel are all there, as is the platform sole, and if it wasn't for that pink, glittery colour on the Moda in Pelle shoe, I think it would be hard to tell them apart. Moda in Pelle's 'Rox', is available at Viva la Diva, for £50 - the Gucci shoe is from last season and is a little harder to find now, but you may just get lucky with the larger department stores or eBay.

I first spotted these shoes thanks to Thrift Eye, they're very similar to a pair of Chloe heels from this season.
The combo of pink heel and white patent is a great alternative if you're getting gladiator fatigue and fancy something a little more polished and a little less boho. They'll set you back $27.80 plus shipping to the UK, which is still a damn sight cheaper than Chloe!
