If you're looking for something a little more glamorous to see you into the weekend, Nine West's 'Lollipop' will brighten up your look, with its stunning gold finish and contemporary-looking triple bow.
The pale, champagne shade of gold that's been used on the fabric of these shoes is a real celebration colour, and would look fantastic worn with black or red. Being slingbacks they'd make ideal summer occasion wear, but we can see them working with stockings, too!
It's Friday, which could easily mean that last-minute, after work invitation to somewhere dressy, while you're still kicking about in your work flatties or trainers. What to do? Of all the places we know for affordable evening shoes, New Look is coming out pretty strong at the moment, and I've picked out these as a good contender for emergency night-on-the-town shoes!
The cut-out suedette heels (which are also available in a 'cedar' beigey-blush) are lovely to look at, and could transform your workwear into something a whole lot more special. Best of all, they're half price...
As a regular wearer of TOMS shoes, a lot of people have asked me where the free shoes are distributed. The answer is: wherever they are needed. Currently, TOMS are involved with a project called 'Operation Blessing in Port Au Prince, Haiti, where there are still hundreds of thousands of displaced earthquake victims living in camps, where conditions are often appalling, covered in debris and other dangers, and children in particular need to protect their feet.
TOMS' volunteers have been distributing shoes in the area and ensuring that children are properly dressed and protected from injury. Check out the video above to see how that's going, and to get a better idea about the charitable element of TOMS' work.
We still can't get enough of black and red around here, and these two key colours are only set to get stronger as we move towards the a/w period. Dolce & Gabbana have combined the shade just beautifully in these pony skin courts, which are currently half price at Farfetch.
The style of the shoe itself is a very classic one, so these would make a good investment purchase, as we don't see animal print going out of style any time soon.
Katy Perry certainly looks like she's having a good time in these brick red clog-style boots, which we recognise from Opening Ceremony's range. The long socks look is a tough one to pull off, but she's wearing them with the right attitude, and that's what really counts! That said, we're loving the little floral print dress, too.
Katy wore the ensemble on set while shooting the video for "Teenage Dream" in her home town of Santa Barbara. The shoes provide a welcome note of colour in her otherwise monochrome ensemble, so these would be a great choice if you wear a lot of black! If this is a look you love, the boots are now marked down by 40% at Farfetch.
Jess, who's editor of our sister site OSOYou has been bounding around the office in this fabulous pair of Ash high canvas 'spot' shoes'; a fun style that adds an instant touch of sports chic to your casual look. Jess wore the shoes with a simpel white jersey dress and black cycling shorts.
The shoes originally retailed at £90, but are marked down to the £40 price point in most stores. Looks like Jess, who picked up the shoes for just £25 at Poste Mistress bagged a bargain there! If you'd like to take advantage, you'll need to get yourself along to the Poste Mistress boutique in London's Covent Garden, as there's currently no online shop (boo hiss!)
