As a regular wearer of TOMS shoes, a lot of people have asked me where the free shoes are distributed. The answer is: wherever they are needed. Currently, TOMS are involved with a project called 'Operation Blessing in Port Au Prince, Haiti, where there are still hundreds of thousands of displaced earthquake victims living in camps, where conditions are often appalling, covered in debris and other dangers, and children in particular need to protect their feet.
TOMS' volunteers have been distributing shoes in the area and ensuring that children are properly dressed and protected from injury. Check out the video above to see how that's going, and to get a better idea about the charitable element of TOMS' work.
We still can't get enough of black and red around here, and these two key colours are only set to get stronger as we move towards the a/w period. Dolce & Gabbana have combined the shade just beautifully in these pony skin courts, which are currently half price at Farfetch.

Katy Perry certainly looks like she's having a good time in these brick red clog-style boots, which we recognise from Opening Ceremony's range. The long socks look is a tough one to pull off, but she's wearing them with the right attitude, and that's what really counts! That said, we're loving the little floral print dress, too.
Katy wore the ensemble on set while shooting the video for "Teenage Dream" in her home town of Santa Barbara. The shoes provide a welcome note of colour in her otherwise monochrome ensemble, so these would be a great choice if you wear a lot of black! Jess, who's editor of our sister site OSOYou has been bounding around the office in this fabulous pair of Ash high canvas 'spot' shoes'; a fun style that adds an instant touch of sports chic to your casual look. Jess wore the shoes with a simpel white jersey dress and black cycling shorts.
