There is something about tartan that makes me feel all Christmassy inside... it must be the red.
Here are the perfect pair of Christmas lace up pumps, at a bargain price as well. They are new to ASOS.com and are selling for £11.75. At this price don't expect them to last long. Cute much?

How cute are these brogue style leather lace up shoe boots?
I really like the colour, which would look great with a pair of grey or mustard tights. Featuring a round toe, with lace front and slim cone heel. One to definitely consider to brighten up that dull winter wardrobe. They're priced at £45.

How do you add a feminine touch to a pair of menswear-inspired shoes? Easy! Just make them in bright pink patent, obviously! Well, I'm assuming that was the thinking here, anyway... The result is this rather cartoon-ish looking lace-up, which is exactly what Barbie would wear, if, of course, Barbie ever decided to wear a pair of flat lace-ups. That would be about as unlikely as me wearing them, but I know some of you love this style, and if you still love it in pink patent, now's your chance to buy it - these are £20 from ASOS.

Now, I'm all for the menswear look. I think it can look fabulous when it's done right - think Greta Garbo and and all those silver-screen sirens of days gone by and you'll know exactly what I mean. There's a line, however, at which "menswear-inspired" can become "clown-inspired", and I think these Livy Glass shoes from All Saints have crossed that line. Quite some time ago, actually.
On the plus side, I love the distressed metallic leather, but on the minus side, £120 to look like Charlie Chaplin? I think I'll pass...

As Amber mentioned yesterday, it seems to be a dime a dozen when it comes to shoe-boots at the moment. So when you find one that sets itself apart from the rest (by price, material or design) you'd be smart to jump on it, wouldn't you?
Which is why these Bijou lace-ups are just begging to be snatched up (lovingly, of course) - the ginormous platform and pretty contrast leather piping are lovely and very on-trend, but the cut-out really seals the deal in my opinion. Better get jumping, and make it quick - these are £85 from Dune.

It's an UGG! It's a hiking boot! It's a slipper! It doesn't know what it is and frankly, neither do I. The sheepskin lining *does* look super snug and I know my tootsies wouldn't say no to that kind of comfort come winter, but at what expense? Green laces and a furry suede tongue? Err...
They're not my cup of tea thanks love, but I can imagine they could look quite passable on a model-esque type paired with some skinny minnie jeans. Or would they ever look passable? For £110, I'm not really willing to find out. From ASOS.

So you've been looking for a classic shoe boot all season and haven't been able to find a comfortable, cute bootie with a medium heel, gently rounded toe and subtle punched leather detailing? Me too.
Good news kiddos: I came across these beauties from Oasis and they're everything I've been looking for. So of course, I snapped them up super quick! (You need to jump on these things pronto - I've learnt my lesson the hard way.) At £65 they're not the cheapest shooties around, but they're great quality. And I managed to find me an Oasis discount code too, so a further 15% off right before my birthday was a bonus.
