I like cute little pumps. I quite like flocked wallpaper. But a pair of leather pumps with a flocked pattern? I'm not quite sold. They've got a few things going for them. The comfort factor obviously, but they have a cute Japanese-inspired look to them too.

Speaking as someone who loves the two-tone, ballet pump look but can't quite face the indignity of wearing flat shoes at 5"1, these new shoes at Office have a highly appropriate name. "Dignified" are much like many of the toe-capped flatties you'll find, but

These gold lamé flats by NewbarK (capitalisation intentional) are rather lovely, I'm sure you'll agree: they address the need for 'elegant slumming' that's so beloved of Yummy Mummies, home workers and yoga bunnies, but check out the price tag: £395 for what

If you thought that French Sole had the last word in interesting and inventive flat shoes, you really ought to look at what Pretty Ballerinas have to offer at the moment. With some really fun design ideas and a dizzying range of fabrics and textures, there's

Pumps are easily the nicest shoes to wear where comfort is concerned, and I'm a big fun of a pair of round toes whether they're peeping out from under jeans or allowing you to wear a pair of hot pants without feeling like you're (over)dressed to the nines...
French Sole comes to the rescue once again with these white and beige quilted leather toe-tipped ballerina flats

I don't know about you lovely ladies, but out of all the different reasons and occasions to buy new shoes, I personally like buying shoes for work the least. I prefer to limit bouts of foot torture to the evening - when usually I can get my hands on some

Ballet pumps are, of course, everywhere you look these days. They're fantastic, and flats are all very well, but they don't set my heart racing like a pair of ridiculously impractical shoes. Imagine my glee then when I set eyes on these lovelies from Marc by

The ballet flat has become a true wardrobe staple. You can team the ballerina-esque style with anything - from jeans for a casual daytime look to a gorgeous skirt to create evening flair - so undoubtedly the style is going to go ...

It's always satisfying when you find a shoe that's a little bit different. Just like this Atlas band sling from Office. It's not the most innovative of shoes, after all we've all seen a round toe flat pump before. However, it is quite striking...

If Audrey Hepburn were around today, and she saw you wearing these Loeffler Randall linen & patent bow flats, I am sure she would fight you for them. They are pretty, classic and will go-with-anything. The patent trim and cutout (which allows for a little

I'm so happy someone has invented a waterproof keyboard, especially if there are going to be lots of cute shoes like these patent peep tab skimmers from Urban Outfitters available on line, because I don't think my current keyboard can take any more drool...

If you're not a trainer gal and you want a casual shoe, then what are you to do? Ballet pumps are still not casual enough, but you don't want to wear round toe printed canvas pumps for fear of looking childish or not in keeping with your style, then these 'Top

Do we still love little ballet flats? Oh yes we do! Especially if it's in Shoewawa's big colour prediction for S/S 07 - blue. This cute little pump from the Marks & Spencer Limited Collection has a lovely sophisticated, subtle sheen instead of the in-your-face

Yet another pair of covetable patent pumps *sigh*. I don't think you can go wrong with a pretty flat pump, especially when it's in this lovely purple patent with cut out detailing. You don't see many of them now, do you? This 'Plus' pump is by Steve Madden and

Although Accessorize aren't best known for their shoes, they've certainly produced some lovely pairs lately! One of their new arrivals, these leather ballerina flats are plain enough for work, but pretty enough not to let down your style factor. Also available

It seems that Marc Jacobs and Miu Miu are of one mind this season, with both parties producing plenty of sparkly creations over the past few months. The latest offering from Marc Jacobs are these simple tweed ballet flats, tarted up with yet another round of
