With that tiny bit of sunshine that we received the other day (yes, I said tiny) my wilful mind refuses to give into the dark gloomy colours of winter... just yet. That said, I happily stumbled across these peachy orange coloured bow T-bars by Carvela.
The "Harriet" shoe is available in such a delectable colour, I can't help but predict warm sunny picnics, even if I'll be waiting an unforgivable time before those come around again. Order them today from Littlewoods for £85 (they're also available in pink).

It can be tricky to find Steve Madden shoes here in the UK, but they're there if you know where to look, and I found these two tone peep toes on the Look Again website, where they sell for £75. The colours of these won't be to everyone's taste, but there's something very autumnal about that yellow and brown mix, and I think they could actually end up being fairly versatile, if you wear them with a pair of tights, to keep out the winter chill! Get them at Look Again.

If you're going to wear peep toe boots, I think you may as well wear ones that are shiny, patent and have a bow on the front. And that are $645. Or actually, on second thoughts, maybe not that last one, because, let's face it, that's a lot of money to pay for a pair of boots that I'm still not 100% sure about. The patent uppers, bow and the high, but sturdy heel I know I like. Once again, though, the peep toe gives me serious reservations, and I think for that price I'd rather have a pair of boots I'd wear again and again, with absolutely no reservations whatsoever.
If you already love these without reservation, of course, you can pick up a pair at Zappos Couture.

These Steve Madden booties so aren't my usual shoe-style, but for some reason I absolutely love them. I think it's something to do with the slouchiness of the uppers, which lend an air of casual chic to a shoe that would normally leave me scratching my head and wondering how on earth to wear peep toe boots.
As for that question, I'd wear them with thick tights underneath, and I think they could work equally way with jeans and dresses. They're available in six different colours, come with either leather or suede uppers, and are $149.95.

'Sassy' by name, and sassy by nature...
I've long believed that it's hard to go wrong with the classic "bow peep toe" combo, especially when you add a platform sole into the mix, but I still think Topshop deserve a special mention for these ones, if only for the fabulous colours. My favourite is that bright green, but I also love the purple, and, come to think of it, I do like leopard print on shoes, too. And the black would be so versatile!
Yes, I think indecision would be my biggest problem with these shoes, which would look particularly striking worn with some equally bright tights. If you can decide which colour you like best, they're £60 at Topshop.

If you have been hankering to try out a multitude of trends all in one shoe, but just haven't had the budget to stretch very far then you're in luck.
These shoes from Peacocks combine everything that you should be looking for this season - patent, lace-up, peep-toe and skyscraper heels. And the best bit? They're only £15. Yes, really. Get 'em while they're hot... and still available.

Barratts Black Gardenia line launched recently, and includes lots of lovely dress shoes, including these sequin covered peep toes, which are £35. These have a subtle animal print, just in case the all-over sequins weren't enough for you, and a peep toe which is reminiscent of the shape of the one on YSL's famous 'Tribute' pumps. Overall, an affordable piece of glam for a night on the town, and didn't we tell you animal print was everywhere right now?
