If money was no object, I'd buy J Crew's entire fall collection, which is absolutely lush. If I could only buy one item from that collection, though, it would probably be these yellow suede 'Fleur' peep toes. Yes, the yellow suede makes them rather impractical, but they're just too beautiful to pass up, and as long as you don't walk through any muddy puddles in them, I think they'd see you through a few parties. I love the sunny yellow colour, but these are also available in pink, bright blue and violet, and are $195.

Topshop have a bit of a "clown" theme going on at their website at the moment, as anyone who's seen the Pierrot hat they currently have in stock will be able to testify. I don't think anyone could get away with wearing the hat and still keep a straight face, but these Harlequin booties are a much easier way to wear this, admittedly slightly puzzling, "trend".
Peep toe booties have now successfully infiltrated almost every one of our high street stores, so I'm getting used to seeing them, although I'm still not convinced I want to buy a pair. If I did. these ones, with their colourful harlequin pattern, might be contenders - they're a little more fun than the usual bootie offerings, although I think they may be too much "fun" for some tastes. If that's not you you can buy them at Topshop for £65, and they're also available in grey.

These shoes make me want to get married again, just so I can have an excuse to wear them. As bridal shoes go, they're not particularly expensive at £98, and I just love that little off-set bow with its Swarovski trim - gorgeous! They are actually available for non-brides, too, in a black and white print, but for some reason I'm just not drawn to them in that colour at all, so it looks like a shotgun wedding is the only option for me.
If you already have a wedding in the offing - and you're the bride - you'll find these at Viva la Diva. Enjoy!

The execution isn't quite Louboutin, but I was instantly reminded of Christian Louboutin's glitter shoes when I seen these platforms from Nine West. Of course, the Louboutins were slingbacks, and these ones aren't, but the multicoloured glitter is the same, as is the platform, so I think there could be a little bit of designer inspiration going on here. As for the price, it's definitely not designer inspired - these are £65 at Nine West.

It's not often I come across a Louboutin shoe I wouldn't give my left arm to own. Don't get me wrong, I definitely don't dislike these Orlan platforms. It's just that they are not going on my shoe wishlist right this very minute, as most other Louboutins do!
I will admit I love the colour, the suede leather, the T-strap and the uber high platform and heel. But the little peek-a-boo peep-toe isn't my scene I'm afraid. Is it yours? If so, for $885 these Loubs can be tucked up safely in your wardrobe. From Saks Fifth Avenue.

Star print was the very height of fashion earlier this year, but if you're not quite willing to give it up just yet, these 'Cloone' peep toes by Olivia Morris for Faith offer a more restrained way to wear the trend.
I wasn't keen on the ubiquitous star print at the height of its popularity, but I do have to admit to having a soft spot for these shoes, with the single star at the bottom of each t-strap just enough to draw the eye without being overpowering. The black and gold mix is a good choice for evening wear, and the overall shape is classic enough to let you keep wearing them long after the stars have finally dropped off the fashion radar.
