T-bar snake effect heels just £10 from Peacocks

peacocks_tbarsnakeeffect_tennershoes.jpg

Mid-season sale time is almost nearly up at Peacocks too. But before it's completely done, you must not overlook these t-bar snake effect heels - they're just a tenner! Available in black or cream, they feature just a hint of snake print in trimming and on the heel. I also like the cute button on the side, that would look fab with any work outfit. Did I also mention they were selling for just £10?

Get *those* Sarah Jessica Parker gladiator sandals for just £16 at Matalan

carrie_matalangladiators.jpgWe have seen *those* Dior gladiator sandals, made famous by Sarah Jessica Parker in SATC: The Movie, everywhere this summer. They have also been replicated by many High Street retailers, but this is the cheapest I have seen them yet.

If you have been hanging out to try out this style, but just haven't had the pennies to back it up, then luck has smiled upon you. At Matalan you can really copy Carrie with these patent cut-out gladiator sandals for... wait for it... just £16. I know, it's ridiculous right? I doubt that you'll find them for less than this, so swoop in now before they all run out.

Bargain Tuesday: Dorothy Perkins' blue buckled ballet flats

dorothy-perkins-blue-buckle-patent.jpgBlue is certainly making a bit of a comeback in the fashion world, after a year or two of green being in favour, and fortunately, this means you can easily find bargains that will last you longer than one season! These buckle flats are an interesting marbled cobalt shade, and the fact that they're patent makes them a good walk-to-work-in-the-rain kind of shoe. Being ballet flats, they're imminently suited to workdays and casual weekends; and best of all, they're a tiny £7 down from £25 at Dorothy Perkins!

Found a fabulous shoe bargain? Let us know, and we may feature it in our new column! (Just put 'Bargain Tuesday' in the subject line.)

Bargain Tuesday: Red or black leather 'Krysant' boots at Office

office-krysant-boot-leather-sale.jpgThere's nothing like a bargain to cheer you, now that the work week's just begun (sigh!); and this one is a particularly good find, as it's autumn stock at 60% off! Available in red or black leather, these boots are a great wardrobe staple. They have a manageable heel and simple design, making them suitable for work and play; but the floral emblem on the back of the boot adds enough interest to prevent the design eliciting yawns from your fashionable friends! The best part, though, is the price: 'Krysant' is £40 down from £99.99 - a whopping saving for your feet! Bargains really are better on Tuesdays!

Cheap and cheerful patent peep-toes from George at ASDA

george-asda-peep-toe-red-black-gold-heels.jpgWhen it's been a few weeks since your last pay, and pockets that were jingling with spending money are now sad and empty; looking at designer shoes can be a bit like torture. Fortunately, though, you can still get a shoe fix, thanks to the supermarket-turned-high-street! George at ASDA can be a little hit and miss with their offerings, but I don't think you can go wrong with these bold heels. Reminiscent of Bruno Frisoni's gold-stiletto platforms (only sexed-down instead of up!), they're perfect for the tights-and-peep-toes trend; and as they're made out of patent with a small-ish 'peep', they might even fare well on a dreary day. Best of all, at just £12 a pair (in red or black), they're practically spare change!

Manic Monday at the ASOS sale!

asos-sale-shoes.jpg

If there's one thing I love more than shoes, it's a shoe sale! ASOS, in their usual way, is having a clearance of many fabulous styles - perfect for tucking away until next spring/summer or to wear to death between now and then. With choices like peep-toes (which, if you'll remember, are perfect for winter with a pair of thick tights!), Mary Janes and quite a selection of flats, plimsolls and trainers, why not take advantage? For our picks, see after the cut...

Dune's brown 'Sonic' mock croc peep toe shoes are on sale!

dune-peep-toes.jpgThere's something about these mock croc peep toes that I find very appealing. The reptile print is very "in" this season but is also suitably muted (so you could get away wearing it to the office), and the wooden heel suggests lightness, with the slingback strap being broad enough to prevent any possible blisters. I reckon they'd look great with jeans, or with a fitted pencil skirt. They're reduced from £55 to £33 at Dune, so you'd better snap them up before they sell out.
