If you've had any thoughts of hiding away (or at least hiding your credit cards away) throughout the sale period to avoid spending your moolah, you might as well just give in as soon as you've read the title of this post. Yes, the Net-a-Porter sale has begun and if you love shoes as much as we do here at Shoewawa (heck, you're visiting this site, so there's a high chance you do!) then you'll know this is one of the best chances you'll have of nabbing yourself some seriously hot shoes at seriously hot prices.

If you love Rupert Sanderson's shoes as much as some people I know, then you will be about to whoop for joy when I tell you there is a good selection from the famed UK shoe designer now on sale.

So it's got to be that time of year again, when I look in my shoe closet on a brilliant sunny day like the one today, and discover I have nothing appropriate (why oh why did I go so boot crazy last season!?)
I guess it just means I'm going to have to even things up in the summer shoe department, and first to go on the list of must-buys is a pair of flat sandals. These 'Kurt' ones by Carvela caught my eye because not only are they colourful and on-trend, they're also on sale right now too, for £35 at Kurt Geiger. Now to find my next pair... thinking some wedges perhaps?

While perusing the net, as I do each day, I came across these very unusual tan cut out boots from Oasis.
Created using a laser cut technique, they are quite eye-catching and better yet - they're on sale! Known as the tan 'Alisha' boot, they also fasten by zip in the back and feature a peep-toe. On sale from £65 to £40, they won't last long.

Heads-up bargain hunters: online fashion portal Footlux, which stocks such brands as Cacharel, See by Chloe and Havaianas is holding a 20% off anniversary sale to celebrate the site's birthday. All shoes in its Spring/Summer collections are reduced, including these Pura López 'Begonia' with their tassel detailing that's one of the season's key trends.
So, if like me you're at that point in the year when you realise a new pair of summer sandals is about to become a neccessity, you might want to browse the site in your lunch hour...
If you are in the market for an affordable, yet fashionable pair of wedges for spring then look no further.
Peacocks have a pair of super-cheap black studded gladiator wedges in its season sale. The studs add a touch of bohemian without looking too chunky or tough. They are reduced from £20 down to just £15. Bargain!

I realise that it is neither Mary Jane Monday or Bargain Tuesday, but I couldn't very well let Friday pass without mentioning these super-cheap pumps from Dorothy Perkins.
They are a lovely mix of jade green and black and a real bargain, of course. The black cap toe also adds a bit of interest, as does the Mary Jane strap. They were £20 and are now just £7 - get onto them!
