If you couldn't tell from all the commotion yesterday, The Outnet, Net-a-porter's discount sister site, is open for business.
Catwalk Queen got so excited they did a round-up of their picks from the best of the bargains - click here to check it out. Lots of items were snapped up straight away, although some have complained that the prices aren't that much cheaper than sale goods at Net-a-porter.
Nevertheless, there are some real goodies to be found, including this pair of nude Jimmy Choo 'Idol' platforms that have been slashed by 50 per cent. Originally priced at £440, they are now available for £220 - woot!

If you have worn your old brogues to death then cheer up!
I've found you a fab pair of multi-coloured brogues from Faith, but the best bit is - they're on sale. These 'Celinda' brogues feature different coloured panels, a stacked wooden heel and black laces. They might not scream 'summer!' but don't overlook them all together. They are currently are on sale for £35, reduced from £65.

I must be having a bow day today. These laughing bow (yes, I said laughing) printed slingbacks are what you should be checking out right now - because they're on sale!
That's right, as part of Office's 'Eggciting Easter Offer' sale they have shaved £20 off these babies. I like them because they are unusual and ultra girlie. I could definitely see them teamed with a LBD (Little Black Dress) and some cute sheer hosiery. They are reduced from £60 to £40.

Size 7 Biba fans prepare yourselves for a treat which will make all non-size 7 Biba fans sick with jealousy...
These perforated suede high heel sandals - so perfect for summer with their wooden heel - are reduced on Yoox right now to the almost ridiculous price of $38 (initial price was $310).
Wooden heels look great with all shades and styles of denim - how about some faded jeans for spring and graduating to some frayed cutoffs when the weather really heats up? So much potential and for relatively small change too.

I do love Urban Outfitters' sales...all those slightly-too-trendy-for-their-own-good items suddenly become far more desirable when the price tag is slashed, in this case by 80%.
These distinctive platform heels by Seychelles will last well into the summer with their funky, chunky wooden heel, while in the meantime, they'll look fab with opaque tights and a contrasting skirt. And in case you were wondering, there are plenty left in lots of 'normal' sizes.
£19.99 (reduced from £100) at Urban Outfitters

My friend adores Converse shoes, every time we're in a store which stocks them, we invariably stop so she can gawk at them as if they were something shiny and she was a magpie. So when I saw these Converse Chuck Taylor's with a flower and cherry print, I wondered if she would wear these. They're definitely girlie but also a little sporty... but perhaps they are a little young for her, especially with the pastel coloured prints. Either way, they are only $25.62 at Overstock.com, so maybe they could be a fun little surprise present.

I'm pretty sure Barratts are trying to destroy my sanity. They're currently having one of the best sales I've seen in ages, with many styles down to £10 - or even £8 - but neither of the two pairs of shoes I tried to add to my basket (for yes, I tried to buy two) were available in my size, so if you see something you like here, my advice would be to snap it up before it's gone. I also apologise in advance if the shoes you like turn out to be already gone - trust me, I feel your pain!
All of the shoes shown here are now just £10 - view the full sale here.
