I love this sophisticated, two-tone high sandal by Moda in Pelle. The trendy platform makes it an ideal shoe for the summer, while the soft leather should keep your feet from expiring as you scoot about in the heat.
If you're as taken with the shoe as I am, the good news is that it's part of a sale currently on at shoe-shop.co.uk where you'll also find bargains galore from Poetic License, Ravel, Red or Dead and more. This pair and their yellow counterpart have had £20 shaved off and are now on sale at £60.

I saw these just as I was about to fall asleep and they jolted me awake. Bright aren't they?
The shoe has a multi coloured floral wedge heel with a cobalt blue satin peep toe upper. I think I've typed this sentence a million times now but...they'd be great for summer!
They would be stunning worn with a nice dress, or a pair of dark jeans... or some nice denim shorts. Or anything really, as long as its simple enough to cope with the bright pattern. Get them from Oli for £65.

Topshop really aren't letting the Louis Vuitton 'Spicy' sandal love die, are they? The high street really make the most of a trend before we get bored of it - which is good for us because then we get lots of nice designer-alike shoes!
With the same coloured snakeskin (effect) and beads, the 'Levi' Strippy Tribal Sandal, bears more then a passing resemblance to the 'Primal' voodoo sandals - and the 'Fatal' Beaded Sandals after that - originally inspired by the 'Spicy'.
Are you keeping up? Good.
Made from leather, these come in two colourways; this rather nice black and purple, and red. If you want, they're £70.

These shoes are possibly a case of you'll either love 'em or hate 'em, thanks to their uber-trendy fringing and wedge heel - two opinion dividers of the highest order. Personally, I'm quite a fan, but that's probably because they fit right in with my festival shoe criteria, with the added bonus of having a little bit of height thrown in thanks to the two inch wedge (frankly, I need all the help I can get!)
They are made from suede, have an attractive T-bar shape with side cutouts and a zip closure at the back. You can pick them up for $138 from Free People.

So nautical is back in vogue for this summer, just like it was last summer, and the one before it...
If you want a way to channel it without going down the obvious anchor print and stripes route, these wedges from Dolce and Gabbana would be perfect.
Understatedly sea-themed, the front is made of natural white rope and is pulled into a t bar strap, while the 4 inch wedge heel has a rope finish. Get them from Farfetch for £314.

I'm in a bit of a sick haze today, and the medicine I've taken is making me a bit spacey. As I dragged my eyes across websites trying to find something post-worthy, these hefty shoes caught my attention and launched me into a fantasy of using them to toughen up a floaty summer dress, and strutting down a sunshine filled street.
If only drug-induced dreams weren't the only place to get some sun. Leather with a snakeskin print and cross over straps, the Zigi Platform Peep Toe heels by London Rebel are available from Urban Outfitters for £85.

Okay, so while I'm madly on the hunt for a new pair of gladiator sandals to get my feet in the mood to really kick off summer, I'm well aware that many of you will be sick of the sight of them and will be wanting some other chic alternatives.
These brown toe post sandals really caught my eye because they deliver just that - they're not gladiators, but they still look fashionable and, most importantly, pretty darn good. The jewel detailing means they will sparkle and glitter in the sun, but the neutral tan colour means they're not overtly blingin'. Just perfect. They're a very reasonable £25 from Evans.
