Zandra Rhodes is taking her next step after her collection for M&S by launching a footwear line for Strutt Couture. The legendary British designer has unveiled a bright capsule range of slashed le and laser cut-out leather booties and heels that will launch for spring/summer 2010.
"It was particularly exciting designing this collection because I haven't designed shoes in so long and I believe that it's shoes that finish an outfit - we are now more aware of footwear than ever before," she said.
Just like her pink hair, Zandra has created a pair of acid pink slashed booties (pictured), which will retail for £160. Stay glued to www.struttcouture.com for more details.
Last night, Ms Shoewawa got a sneaky peek at the new H! collection from Henry Holland. Launching at Debenhams in February 2010, the range will feature everything the fashion-savvy budget fashionista needs in her wardrobe; from bikinis and jackets to shoes and accessories.
'Budget' really is the watchword here, as nothing in the range will exceed £50, in stark contrast to Matthew Williamson's 'Butterfly' range, whose items often fetch three figures. As you'd expect, there's a bit of an 80s tinge to everything, with neons and bold styling used throughout the range. The tall shoes will make dazzling partywear for fans of the Henry Holland look, while floral and candy-coloured pumps step in for more relaxed days.
We look forward to seeing the collection out on the street in February!

The winner will score themselves a brand new pair of Hunter wellies and accessories from the S/S 2010 collection. You can email your pics to competitions@hunter-boot.com by Saturday 10th October.

Recently, I've noticed that online store Oli have really upped their game in the footwear department. I've fallen in love with, and added to my imaginary shopping cart, several of the shoe styles at the moment. Most of the range looks fresh from the catwalk.
I love every single inch of these Poetic Licence Fan Ribbon Tie Court. The bow detail is delicate, ending in the heart details which Poetic Licence are becoming known for. The fan edges give a nod to the lace trend, and the peeptoe is still popular for Winter.
It's £65, and also comes in a suede turquoise version which contrasts with the patent black patent hell.
What else have they got?

Every girl's handbag needs a few essential items. You've got your obvious choices, your phone, purse and lipgloss, and then you've got those other things you need 'just in case'. Umbrella's, hairslides and my trusty Redfoot Revolution shoes all fall into the latter category.
For those not familar with the brand, RR produce fold up shoes that you can put into your handbag for work commutes, round the office, and that long walk home after a night on the dance floor. I've got a few pairs in various handbags, and I've bought them for friends for Christmas and birthdays as everyone tends to ask where they can get some.
So I was pretty excited to hear they'd bought out a new range....and even more excited to hear that it's Sex and the City themed, and comes in this gorgeous mini shoe box (right)

From our sister site Bridalwave....
When you're choosing your wedding outfit, a lot of people can get caught up on just the dress, but let's not forget shoes! Possibly the only time in your life you can get away with wearing white satin heels.
These gorgeous 'Alexandra' bridal shoes from Freya Rose are actually Ivory Silk (that's almost white satin) and are £295. The high back is really unusual and would look great shown of with one of the short gowns that are so fashionable right now. The shoes have a Mary-Jane style strap fastened with fresh water and silver pearl buttons.

There's been a lot of publicity around Balmain recently, but more for his effect on jackets and not really for his shoes. These boots might change that.
Suede with a 4.5 inch heel, the ankle boots are described by Net-a-Porter as 'tough luxe' and I see what they mean. The zips add some rock appeal, while the shape is still kept sleek.
Even though they're £1,520, I'm expecting them to go fast (especially in this temperamental weather) so get on it quickly.
