Christian Louboutin flat sandals from Browns

christian louboutin browns sandals.jpgJust the thing to add a little Elle MacPherson soignée chic to your wardrobe these flat sandals from Browns are the perfect preppy shade of tan. The braiding adds a nice bit of textural interest without being too fuddy duddy and they would make even the most floaty floral dress smart enough for the office. They're by Christian Louboutin and will set you back £460.

Not So Casual Friday: Nude satin Kasirai shoes by Pedro Garcia

nude-satin-shoes.jpgThis is yet another example of a shoe that's simple yet oh-so very gorgeous! It's Pedro Garcia's 'Kasirai' shoe, which comes in this glorious nude coloured satin. In this picture, the front of the shoe looks like it's sticking out rather a lot, but they look fine on the mannequin, so I suspect they'll also look good on a foot! Overall a very classy shoe in a colour that will be very versatile. They're £185 at My-Wardrobe.

Casual Friday: Topshop's 'Vanessa' dotty bow pumps

topshop-dotty-bow-pumps.jpgPolka dots. Peep toes. Bows. It's all of my very favourite things, brought together in the same shoe, and they've even made them in this season's nautical navy, too! The shoe in question is Topshop's 'Vanessa' , and for a casual shoe made out of cotton, I think these are gorgeous. The small wedge heel means that they'll be more comfortable than flats or heels, and there's a bit of pin-up-girl glamour to them that you don't often see in so casual a shoe. They're £15, and you can also buy them in grey, green and red.

Leather metal trim flat sandals from ASOS

asossandalmetaltrim.jpg

Yippee! By the looks of it, summer is basically here and my poor feet couldn't be happier. No longer will they have to be stuffed into boots, where they've been sadly neglected all winter, but are now free to bathe in the sunlight (which reminds me, I must sort out that pedicure...)

These sandals from ASOS will be my trusty summer standby (aside from my Havaianas of course), and my happy feet can't wait to get acquainted with them, let me tell you! Made from real leather with metal trim and two large decorative stones, they're a pretty great deal at only £35.

Office's 'Real High' blue and white stripe nautical style platform peep toes

office-nautical-sandals.jpgThis is a shape of shoe we've seen around a lot this year, from various different brands, but Office's take on the style has a distinctly nautical flavour, with a blue and white striped upper and red platform sole. It's the stiletto heel that really gives these shoes their "wow" factor, though: it's a skyscraper 5", which is clearly why Office decided to name these shoes so literally - they're called "Real High" and if you were hoping to wear them all summer with your sundresses, skirts and jeans, well, all I can suggest is that you keep a pair of flip flops in your handbag...

Ugly Shoe of the Week: 'Nanny's Treasure' by Office

office-yellow-and-multi.jpgNow, I know some of you will probably like these shoes from Office, but for me, this is one "treasure" that Nanny can keep all to herself as far I'm concerned. I know bright colours are big right now, but this particular shade of yellow would have been enough on its own: there was no need to add red, turquoise and brown, and then to top it all off with some beads. If you disagree, you can buy these for £65 at Office - will you, though?

Gold patent peep toe from New Look

gold new look cutout wedge.jpgI'm not such a fan of charity shop imitations, after all if you can buy the real thing who wants a lame high street rip off? But these gold wedge heels are so spectacular that I'm glad that New Look has resurrected them from the decade that taste threw up on and has made them an exciting twenty quid. The cutout effect is fab and the peep toe is perfect for summer.
I'm sorely tempted to don a kaftan and towelling turban and hang out at my Monte Carlo holiday home. Oh wait, that was a dream.
