Kanye West's shoe line for Louis Vuitton sold out already

kanye_west_louis_vuitton_sold_out.jpg

They might well be the most expensive pair of trainers you'll ever encounter, but even if you still wanted a pair of the Kanye West-designed kicks from Louis Vuitton, the bad news my friend, is you can't. They were on the shelves for a day and they've already sold out! Well, that's the gist of the story anyway...

The Cut blog reckons there has been a waiting list since January, and since they closed that, they have been taking names for a wish list. Which would mean no shoes were ever going to hit the shop floor. Oh well, they're still good to look at and If It's Hip, It's Here has allllll the pics, so head on over there and knock yourself out!

Not so casual Friday: DSquared geometric gem T-bar sandals

dsquared_t-bar_geometric_gem_sandals.jpg

All this sunshine we've been having this week has been making me long for the weekend like never before - and for a yummy cocktail to be planted firmly in my hand as I take in the views on one of London's lovely rooftop bars.

What I'll need on my feet however, is a pair of shoes that are equally glam, and will lift my spirit as equally as the glorious sunshine has. I believe these geometric gem T-bar sandals by DSquared will fit that bill extremely well. And then I can focus all my attention on deciding which cocktail I'd like to try first... Ahh decisions, decisions! They are on sale now for $831 at Zappos Couture.

YAY OR NAY: Jean-Michel Cazabat 'Kimberly' platform shoes

yay_or_nay_jean_michel_cazabat_kimberly_platforms.jpg

It's possible that due to the insane London heat (especially in sauna-like Shiny Towers), my brain hasn't been quite itself in recent days. Hence, why we've reached Thursday without our weekly Wednesday Yay or Nay feature! Luckily, we've recovered ourselves just in time to bring you a shoe aimed to divide opinion in the best way possible - this knotted 'Kimberly' design by Jean-Michel Cazabat has all the hallmarks of a good shoe, but I can imagine there will be plenty out there who don't like it. What do you reckon? Vote in our poll below and let me know!

Kate Spade Gracious bow heels

kate_spade_gracious_bow_heels.jpg

Hands up who doesn't like bows? Yes, that's what I thought. Nobody. Well, that might be a slight exaggeration, but, for the most part, people really like bows don't they? So you can bet that most of these bow-lovers would do a double take when they saw these 'Gracious' heels by Kate Spade.

Aside from the pretty bow, they are a very elegant shade of eggplant purple and have a classic ankle strap and thin stiletto heel - perfect for a glam evening out. You can pick them up at Zappos Couture for $329.

Steve Madden Alisah black ruffle slingbacks

steve_madden_alisah_heels.jpg

Ever since I saw Carrie Bradshaw wearing those Christian Louboutin pink ruffle sandals on Sex and the City (y'know the ones - Miranda's water ended up breaking at rather inconvenient moment and ruining them), I have always had a bit of a "thing" for ruffle heels. There's something incredibly feminine about them and the way they make your feet look so delicate.

I know these Steve Madden Alisah slingbacks aren't really in the same league, but with their satin ruffles, ankle strap and stiletto heel, they will also do the trick quite nicely. They're $89.95 at Steve Madden.

Ugly Shoe of the Week: Beverly Feldman 'Greentini' loafers

beverly_feldman_greentini_loafer.jpg

It's been a wee while since we've written about any ugly shoes (for me especially), but that's mainly because I find it very hard to conjure up feelings of dislike for many shoes - and then find it even harder to bag on them in the public domain! However, some shoes are just asking for it, and as horrible as it feels to say it, these Beverly Feldman 'Greentini' loafers ($184.95) are kind of a case in point.

Even the website selling them has called them a "hodgepodge of rich textures", but we'd just say they've got a whole lot going on! From the "reptile upper" (again, their words, not mine) to the animal-print on the front to the gold metallic bow, these are a hodgepodge alright - but not in the good way Endless Shoes would like to think...

Sergio Rossi Madeleine peep-toe wedges

sergio_rossi_madeleine_wedges.jpg

If there were ever a pair of shoes to sum up my taste perfectly, I'm thinking these Sergio Rossi Madeleine peep-toe wedges might be it. They're basic yet luxurious thanks to their taupe leather and karung snakeskin wedge.

They're not completely showy yet they're still very eye-catching (let's face it, you'd still probably notice them!)

They're somewhat practical (er, I guess wedges are comfier than your average stiletto) and yet they'll add 5 inches in height - aah, yes, they're Kelly's perfect shoes.

I'm also loving the little details - the slightly off skew peep-toe, the asymmetric ankle strap and the padded insole. Unfortunately for me, the $775 pricetag takes away a little from the overall perfection, but they're still pretty great. From Saks.
