Fergie launches shoe collections at Nordstrom

fergie_launch_shoecollections_nordstrom.jpgI blogged back in December about Fergie's new shoe projects. Now they have come to fruition with an official launch at Nordstrom over the weekend.

The Black Eyed Peas singer showed off her two new shoe collections, Fergie/Fergalicious, as well as some new brunette locks.

"I'm looking forward to the reactions as women begin seeing the shoes on the shelves and deciding which ones to add to their closets. I know I have quite a few pairs in mine!" she said.

Dressed in a blue Gucci shirt-dress, what shoes did she pick to mark the occasion? A pair of gorgeous brown 'Pepper' gladiator sandals. At $129, they fall under her 'Fergie' line. Her 'Fergalicious' line will retail between $49 and $59. I want!

Givenchy lace-up cage jelly sandals

givenchy_laceup_cage_jellys.jpg

Jellies... hmm, I can never decide quite what I think of them. But designer jellies might just force me out of this category all together. Nevertheless, these black Givenchy lace-up flat sandals are right on-trend with their caged design. Heaven knows they are sure to be super-comfy. But at $174, I doubt I could justify the expense. How about you? Check them out at Zappos.com.

Biba perforated suede high heel sandals

biba_perforated_heels.jpg

Size 7 Biba fans prepare yourselves for a treat which will make all non-size 7 Biba fans sick with jealousy...

These perforated suede high heel sandals - so perfect for summer with their wooden heel - are reduced on Yoox right now to the almost ridiculous price of $38 (initial price was $310).

Wooden heels look great with all shades and styles of denim - how about some faded jeans for spring and graduating to some frayed cutoffs when the weather really heats up? So much potential and for relatively small change too.

Christian Louboutin's 'Trash' shoe sold exclusively at Barneys

louboutin_trashshoe_barneys.jpgThese head-turning 'Trash' shoes, designed by Christian Louboutin, have just landed at Barneys.

The PVC-coated couture heels are a one-off design, that have been imprinted with a range of Barneys's materials. These peep-toes have been created with a double platform and with Louboutin's trademark red sole.

Unique? Yes. Cheap? Not even. But if they make your must-have list, then check them out - they're retailing for $995.

Miu Miu emerald sequined satin ballet flats

prodImageCAMYZR3U.jpg

It may not be particularly obvious from this photo, but I bet these Miu Miu pumps will look fabulous on, with all of those sequins catching the light. Up close, the pattern is something of a mish-mash, but when they're on your feet, I think the effect will be to make the shoes look a little bit different every time you look at them, with different angles creating different colours and views.

Of course, this is sheer conjecture on part, and if you want to know if I'm right, you'll have to buy them - they're $512 at Bluefly.

Giuseppe Zanotti flat toe-post sandals

gzdlats.jpgI've mentioned a couple of times now that Giuseppe Zanotti has been creating some fabulous platforms this season, but he's also created some rather nice flats, too, including these toe-post sandals. These use the same big, bright buckle we've been seeing on some of the aforementioned platforms, and they prove that just because a shoe is flat and summery, it can still be a head-turner. It can still be expensive too, unfortunately: these are $653 at Zappos Couture.

Christian Louboutin Carnaval Nodo satin d'orsay pumps

louboutin-nodo.jpgWell, everyone else is busy making shoes with multiple bows on the front, so why shouldn't Christian Louboutin get in on the act, too? These are his Carnaval Nodo pumps, and while they'd make wonderful wedding shoes (if ever there was a time to splash out on a fabulous pair of shoes, that would be it), the fact that they're silver rather than white will mean you should be able to wear them to other parties and events, too. They're $795.
