We all loved it when American Apparel designed grey toeless socks that seemed to channel Prada's Fall 2008 grey socks and now here is another option for you by Flirt for ASOS. While they also come in black, I think the grey version of these toeless socks would stand out and make much more of a fashionable impact. You can wear them like the models did on the Fall 2008 runway with open toe shoes (if you're not worried about your toes getting cold). Even if you wear them one and they get lost in the wash at only £4 they're worth a try.

Bed socks, what a novel idea. Though they're a must-have when the nights are cold and your feet are the coldest part of your body. I'm currently loving these knee high Peter Alexander candy stripe bed socks with two pom poms dangling off each cuff, there are even suede patches on the soles of the feet to stop them wearing and tearing easily. The socks are just so sweet and girlie that I'd be tempted to wear them with a cute mini around the house - I don't think I'm brave enough to rock them outdoors ;) They're currently available online at PeterAlexander.com.au (who ship all over the world) for AUD$39 (approx $35).

Before I go into detail about these Emilio Cavallini Cut-Out Contrast Socks I want to know - do you wear socks with your pumps? I've always been curious to know if anyone actually wears this trend outside of fashion shows, photo shoots and magazines. Now, if you do wear socks with pumps, would you wear these socks? They're obviously made for their impact factor, firstly with the cut out in the middle of the foot, as well as the white contrast trim. It's a bold bold choice for a bold bold girl. In case you're wondering, they will set you back £6 from ASOS - but would you even consider wearing them?

Not quite ready to venture into the world of animal print shoes? I don't think anyone can have failed to notice that stars are seriously big news in fashion at the moment, but if you don't want to wear one of the many star print dresses that are currently filling the stores, there's no shortage of other star printed items.

Here's a trend right off the Autumn/Winter catwalks... We've talked a lot recently about how sheer tights are making a comeback this year, and lots of designers have been using patterns in their Autumn/Winter shoes, with the Just Cavalli collection being one example of that.
These 'Dirk' tights by Transparenze use a floral pattern over a black, cream or nude background. While I quite like them in black, I have to admit I'm not a huge fan of patterns on nude tights, though, which can make the wearer look a little like the pattern has been tatooed directly onto their legs. If anything has been enjoying a particularly fabulous resurgence in fashion over the past few years, it must be the humble stocking. First in neutral colours, then vintage-styled patterns, now in exotic prints, they're the finishing touch to some of the most inspiring looks both on the catwalk and off.
