If the image before you is burining your retinas, I'm afraid I have bad news for you: fashion is going through yet another 80s revival, so you should probably expect to see a lot more of this kind of thing in the coming months. I'm sorry.
If, on the other hand, you think these are the best thing ever, you'll be pleased to know that they're only £35 from Topshop, who recommend wearing them with a "bodycon skirt and bright tee." Those who don't want to look totally like a time traveller from the 80s might want to consider a plain pair of jeans instead - that way you can give a nod towards the era without looking like it threw up on you.

Happy hump day! I don't know about you, but Wednesday's always feel like a day to get comfy and cosy to me, and if that's an option for you, here's a nice casual shoe to do it in! These are from Dorothy Perkins, and while the style is pretty laid back, the pewter uppers make them a little bit more interesting, and will go with almost everything in your wardrobe. They're also a bit of a bargain at just £18, so ideal for those of us who like to save our money for stilettos and spend as little as possible on more practical choices.

As I mentioned back in September last year, Sergio Rossi has teamed up with PUMA to create a modern version of its 'Clyde' sneaker.
Two variations are available, but the one that has most of us talking are the high heeled sneakers. Now they are available to buy from Colette, with the high heel sneakers retailing for €450.00 and the sneakers retailing for €150.00. Try them if you dare.

Sporty shoes confuse me, I never know what to wear them with because they don't match 99.99% of my wardrobe. But I do like to look at them and challenge myself to see what kind of outfit I would put together. Perhaps it's just a strange little game I like to play with myself, but there are the odd pair of trainers that amuse me like these Creative Recreation Galow Hi sneakers. Sleek and shiny, these sneakers are sharp and sleek with the contrasting black and white sneaker a great street-style look. I wouldn't have a clue what I could pair it with, perhaps a denim mini and a white polo with the collar "popped" up?

British heritage brand, Liberty of London, has teamed up with Nike by reworking its pretty prints into the iconic Blazer trainer.
Fabric prints including Liberty's Phoebe, Nina, Venus Leaf and Strawberry Thief have been recreated to update Nike's Blazer style, first released 1973. They will be available from Liberty on Dover Street Market, and Nike's pop-up store from February 14th. [via Vogue.co.uk]

My friend adores Converse shoes, every time we're in a store which stocks them, we invariably stop so she can gawk at them as if they were something shiny and she was a magpie. So when I saw these Converse Chuck Taylor's with a flower and cherry print, I wondered if she would wear these. They're definitely girlie but also a little sporty... but perhaps they are a little young for her, especially with the pastel coloured prints. Either way, they are only $25.62 at Overstock.com, so maybe they could be a fun little surprise present.

This has to be the worst shoe combination, who ever thought up combining the high top shoe with moccasin detail should be given snaps for giving the peep-toe boot a run for their money. Usually known for cool but quirky clothes and accessories, these See by Chloe fold down sneakers are letting the brand down. Or trying to take it to new levels. As I look at these sneakers more, it is amusing that their designer thought it interesting to give the high-top the same toe detail as moccasins, but nonetheless, why?
