I don't really see what's funny about these Castaner wedges - aside from the price! These adorable blue canvas shoes have a brown leather t-bar detail and woven wedge heel and are on sale now at My-Wardrobe for a pretty good £74.20 (down from £106).
Apart from looking totally comfy, they will go a long way to creating some great summer outfits - pair them with dresses, jeans, trousers, skirts, shorts... you name it!

Kate Spade has been using lots of reds and pinks in her shoes recently. They're two colours that I'd probably never put together myself, but it's amazing how well they can work together on a pair of shoes.
We've talked before about how low wedges can be difficult to pull off, and can end up looking a little "grannyish", but these are anything but, with their vibrant colours and elegant shape giving you comfort and style! They're $352 at Zappos.

Yellow, brown and pink. If someone had told me yesterday that I'd find myself admiring shoes containing all three of those colours today, I don't think I'd have believed them, yet here I am, showing you Moda in Pelle's 'Paterson' t-bar wedges, and not finding the colours nearly as objectionable as I'd have thought.
That's not to say I'd wear these, mind you - I'm more of a 'one or two colours only' kind girl - but I think they're a great, fun shoe for summer, and if you wear them with a suitably neutral outfit, they could be fabulous. Or you could just throw caution to the wind and wear them with as many colours as you like...

When I first found these 'Fayre; shoes by Fly London, I was put off by the chunkiness of them. But something kept drawing me back to them, and I think it can only be that little knotted bow on the front. It makes a nice change from the more usual bows we see on the front of shoes, and the contrast between the white trim and the dark green shoe gives these a vaguely nautical feel. The demi-wedge, meanwhile, makes them more interesting than a regular court shoe (or, indeed, a regular wedge), while the rubber sole should make them easy to walk in. Something's still stopping me from liking them unreservedly, though: what do you think?

I always find high heels without backs to be the hardest shoes to walk in, but that doesn't mean they're not pretty enough for me to keep on buying them regardless. The latest ones to attract my attention are these gold 'Grazia' wedges by Henry James, which are available at Viva la Diva for £35. I like the shape of the shoe itself, but I particularly like the contrast of the pink flowers against the gold leather - lovely!

For a pair of shoes that only cost $26.50, I think these 'Zapper' wedges from Alloy are lots of fun. The bright colours of this floral print gives the shoe a slightly psychedelic look, and then there's that wooden wedge heel, which is an impressive 4" high. They're by Michael Antonio and would work well with a white sundress, or some light wash denim. They're also available in black.

Wedges make such good summer shoes and Barratts' white pair are curvaceously appealing. The simple shape reminds me of Minimalist housing, and they will look so chic in the heat.
They're only £35 which makes them a perfect holiday purchase and will look stunning with maxi dresses, tailored shorts and carrot leg trousers. You might even be lucky and get some UK sunshine to wear them on home turf!
