Abi started her blogging career before the term even existed, having had a taste for online writing while studying for a degree in Modern and Medieval Languages at Cambridge University. After graduation, she went on to work in print media, helping to launch an alternative fashion magazine as part of a team of two in 2004.
Abi then moved her focus to online titles, contributing to sites such as Hippyshopper, Bridalwave, Domestic Sluttery and Walletpop, as well as Shoewawa, Dollymix and many other Aigua titles. She has had work published in the Evening Standard, Cosmopolitan, Stylist and Elle, and has appeared on the BBC's Panorama.
Abi also has an interest in hyperlocal journalism and community-building, and has worked for Associated's Local People network and on special projects with reviews and social networking site Qype. She has also worked on various collaborations and guest-blogging stints with partners including TK Maxx, Shudoo, Brandalley, Haagen-Dazs and American Express.
