Normally, I love flower motifs on shoes without question, but I'm not sure what to make of these ones by Red or Dead, which seem to have all the ingredients for a cute pair of peep-toes, but they've jumbled them up in a slightly weird order.
The '3D flower' itself is kind of pretty but it's a bit too large and way too complex to be sitting slap-bang in the middle of the strap. On the toe, it could have worked, but the designers have tried to be a little too clever here. That's my humble opinion anyway. What's yours?
So our last video 'Hot or Not' on River Island's patent multi strap shoes garnered mixed reviews from you all. Some of you loved them, some of you already owned them, and some of you would not have put those babies on your feet if I paid you! This week we have something a little bit different and far more casual from KangaROOS - these denim flats. They're pretty basic but are given a rev up of sorts thanks to the pink stitching and jogger-looking sole.
What do you think of them? Are they hot or not? Comments are once again working, so leave one below and let us know your thoughts!
I'd never have guessed that these clodhoppers were made by Jimmy Choo, but finding out the name behind the boot didn't make me any more sceptical.
Biker boots are fine in the right context, but for me at least they'd never be on my list of 'shoes to spend a fortune on', and at £650 they're completely out of the question. I mean, Doc Marten do a great job of satisfying our need for big stompy boots on their own, don't they? And at a fraction of the cost. Or maybe I just wish Mr. Choo would get back to designing elegant courts...
They're a beautiful pair of wedges, there's no denying that. But look closely at those soles and what do you see? I see old wicker chairs, and a 'home furnishing' quality that I'm not sure I'd want in my living room - let alone on my feet. But what do you think: do these shoes say styish summer shoe or '70s Habitat to you?
Cork has crept up and up from its traditional position on the sole of the shoe, but is it now getting ideas above its station? This sandal by Diego Dolcini has a cork upper with a wooden heel, and I personally think the style works well - but not all shoe fans agree. What do you think? If you like them, the're £284 (with 50% off) at Farfetch
Zara's been at it again, tracking down shoes which will divide opinion like no other. This time she's found these patent multi strap heels from River Island and with their intriguing colour combination and interesting strappy design, we know you'll be able to conjure up some strong feelings for this one. Unfortunately, our comments are still down (but not for much longer - we'll keep you posted when they're back up and running!) so until then, head on over to our Shiny Fashion channel on YouTube and leave your comment there.
I'm never quite sure who buys these heeled trainers that seem to crop up season after season. Are they the sort of thing that looks terrible until you put them on? or do they look as terrible as the product shots would imply however you wear them? Either way, Ithey're a lofty £165. Let me know what you think...
