Yay or Nay Wednesday

yaynay114.jpgDearie me. Last week's Yay or Nay appears to have left you all a little bug-eyed, which isn't surprising given that they look all frog-like and such! If you were one of the few who thought they were just lovely, bobbles and all, they're by Moschino and will set you back $553.95 at Zappos.

With this week's offering we're mixing it up a little and we're asking you to vote on some good ol' shoe storage! So, what do you think? Are they outstandingly organised or anally retentive? Yay or Nay and why?

[Don't forget to vote at Trashionista, Bridalwave, Hippy Shopper, Corrie Blog, Catwalk Queen, Kiss and Makeup, Shoewawa and Shiny Shiny too!]

Yay or Nay Wednesday

yaynay113.jpgWell, it looks like floral's in - unless, of course, it's on a pair of Prada flats! Last week's Yay or Nay offering did not go down well, with most of you shuddering at what many suggested would be a painful lack of arch support. If you were in the minority that loved them, they're $650.

This week's offering suggests that bobbles are going to be quite the trend this spring/summer. You mainly liked the one-bobble look, but what of this double-bobble effort? Is it perfect platinum or frightfully frog-like? Yay or Nay and why?

Yay or Nay Wednesday

yaynay112.jpgLast week's Yay or Nay was definitely designer, with its crazy bobble embellishments; and we're ready to announce that after heated debate, the Yays have it by a nose. If you felt that they were fit for more than just a "prawn star" (seriously, I laughed for about five minutes after reading that comment - thanks, Phoebe!) - they're Marc Jacobs, and are a whopping £305 from Net-A-Porter.

This week's offering is one of many spring styles filtering their way online, in readiness for when the sun shines on the Northern Hemisphere once more. But what do you think? Is it abstract art for your feet or feral floral? Yay or Nay and why?

Yay or Nay Wednesday

yaynay111.jpgLast week's Yay or Nay offering had me sitting in front of my computer; nose to my screen; refreshing constantly; and waiting with baited breath for someone - some crazy person - to say Yay! Thankfully, the bizarre "beach shoes" from Skechers were a unanimous "I'd rather stab myself in the leg with a fork!" Always nice to know that our readers can pass a standardised sanity test.

This week's offering is... well... 'different' is probably the nicest term available at this time. Another designer making a stand and saying "I am an engine and not a caboose!" if you ask us; but we'd like to know what you think. Are they fashion forward or bobble baloney? Yay or Nay and why?

Yay or Nay Wednesday

yaynay110.jpgYou may like your boots here at Shoewawa, but it seems that you prefer them in simple styles. Last week's Yay or Nay was, I fear, a bit of a wash-out with only four of you voting - but it was still a very clear case of the Nays. For those of you who liked the contrast button-detailed flat boots, they're £30 from ASOS.

This week's offering is apparently 'the perfect slip-on for the laid back gal' and appears to be geared towards beach / pool-side wear. But what do you think of them? Are they summertastic or foolish flip-flop wannabes? Yay or Nay and why?

Yay or Nay Wednesday

yaynay109.jpgDolce, Dolce, Dolce. You've been a bad little designer, haven't you! Our last Yay or Nay offering might not have been the ugliest shoe we've ever seen, but they were still voted Dolce duds by a mile. If you still fancy a pair for your trip to somewhere sunny, they're $698.95 at Zappos Couture.

This week's offering is one of those flat-heeled boots that have been taking centre stage this autumn/winter, although in a mid-calf length and with plenty of strap and button detailing, they're just a little more unusual than other styles. But what do you think of them? Are they sensationally strapping or do they simply fall flat? Yay or Nay and why?

Yay or Nay Wednesday

yaynay108.jpgIt looks like most of you were out shopping for shoes (or, more sensibly, out convincing someone else to buy them for you), because last week's Yay or Nay only got a measly TWO comments! Two! Hilariously, one vote was for Yay and one for Nay, making the novelty Christmas sock fight of 2007 a tied match. If you fancy some homely kitsch socks to keep your feet warm this winter, they're just £5 from Dorothy Perkins.

This week's offering is definitely designer. Described as 'fierce' and suited to sunning oneself by a pool in Morocco, we're more interested in what you think! So: are they glorious Gabbana or Dolce duds? Yay or Nay and why?
