Yes, folks, Yay or Nay Wednesday is back after the December break, and for our first poll of the year we've dug up these unusual (I think that's the best word for them, anyway!) sequined sandals by Doce & Gabbana, that somehow contrive to be both heels and flats in one!
These are available to pre-order now, with delivery from the end of March, and you can buy them here. But what do you think of them? Is it a Yay or a Nay? Vote in the poll you'll find under the jump!
Well, this week's shoe is definitely what you'd call a "statement" shoe, isn't it? What I want to know, though, is what kind of statement you'd make about it - and more specifically, would it be "yay" or "nay"?
The shoe in question is by Pierre Hardy and you can buy it here. You'll find a poll under the jump in which to place your vote!
What of this week's selection, though? Topshop are currently stocking a lot of shoes by Melissa, including these purple wedges with, er, hole detail ( I hesistate to call it a "peep toe" because it's not really, is it?). Do you love them or do you hate them? Vote yay or nay after the jump!
It was Nay all the way for last week's mesh shoes from ASOS, so this week we have something a little more conventional for you to cast your judgement on. These heart-shaped peep toes are by Alexander McQueen, and come in shocking pink with a five inch heel and - you guessed it - a peep toe in the shape of a heart.
Are they the best things you've ever seen, though, or are they just too girlie for words? Vote yay or nay after the jump!
It's pretty much general knowledge around Shiny Towers that Kiss and Makeup's Zara is a huge fan of Steve Madden shoes. Both she and fashion ed Gemma have even been known to come back from the States with suitcases full of the shoes after going on a massive shopping binge!
If you look beyond some of the *ahem* questionable copycat designs that crop up from time to time, there are many desirable pairs of shoes to own at cheap and cheerful prices.
That said, are we all in agreeance on the desirability of this particular pair of ruffle heels? Zara and I both think they're hot - but how about you? Vote in our poll beneath the jump...
Last week you said 'Nay' (or 52% of you did, anyway) to Faith's Sakura ankle boots. The margin was closer than I'd expected it to be, though, so I wonder what you'll make of this week's selection, which is these lace-front ankle boots from ASOS?
These are very similar to a pair of boots worn by Sarah Jessica Parker recently, and as if the lace-front wasn't enough, they also have mesh sides, making them more or less see-through.
What do you think of them? Vote Yay or Nay after the jump!
This week we go back to black with these 'Sakura' cut-out ankle boots from Faith. Shoe designers have been lots of fun cutting chunks out of boots lately, but what does everyone think of this look? Are these boots the very height of fashion and style, or do you think they've tried to cram too many looks into the same piece of footwear? Vote Yay or Nay after the jump!
